STEM & International Collaboration

With the prime focus on experiential learning, we have introduced a “STEM education” based curriculum. Its main aim is to educate students in four major disciplines – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
It is an interdisciplinary and applied approach.
We have well-equipped STEM labs with hands on STEM activity kits that help students to develop important life skills such as creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. So that they develop important 21st-century skills and become future innovators.

International Collaboration
Taking a leap forward, with a desire to broaden our students’ horizons, we have collaborated with STEM School Highlands, Ranch, USA. This international collaboration provides a multifaceted platform to our students where they not only exchange their views on programming languages, technology and culture globally but also present their projects and create an everlasting bond.

The main aims of International collaborations are:

  • Promote global awareness and help them be global citizens in future.
  • Develop bonds with schools across the world and share the best practices.
  • Encourage students to learn by taking part in cross-cultural activities & a global platform to interact.
  • Develop a thought process to work on real-life problems.

Following are the monthly awards/ titles given to students encouraging them to be hardworking and co-operative:

  • HTML Exchange Program: Tuesday March 3rd, 2020 8:15 am – 9:00 am MT/ 7:45 pm – 8:10 pm IST

Being a tech entrepreneur requires more than knowing how to code & build a web app. In this virtual collaboration, we partnered with tech startup Chalkcast to think ,design, & build like industry practitioners. We took an early stage product through real-world scenarios, from user testing to designing new features for a minimum viable product (MVP). In this program, students and teachers from the following schools participated:
    > Abhimanyu Jakhar / https://scotle.org/
    > Craig Parker / https://www.lonestarschool.net/
    > Tom Kirk / Tiger Trade Academy
    > Deanna Scrock / Arickaree
    > Simi Basu / STEM School Highlands Ranch
    > Allison Doe / STEM School Highlands Ranch
    > Downey Meyer / Mohawk Trail Regional High School
    > Isela Ramos / Gadsden High School

The video conferencing app ‘Chalkcast’ was developed in 4 stages, as mentioned below:

Session Topics –
